You might have noticed that you rarely change your sleeping position, so it must mean something. Here is what your sleeping position tells you about your personality.
How you sleep is not only related to your musculoskeletal structure but also your psychological structure. Some research has been done to determine what your sleeping position tells about someone’s personality –but there is still a lot to be discovered. This is the preliminary result.
Most common sleeping positions and their meaning
1. Fetal position
If you sleep gently curled inward with bent arms and legs has to do with the necessity to protect yourself. It suggests that you appear to be tough but, in fact, you are very sensitive.
If you sleep with straight legs and your arms down by your side it generally means that you are personable, easygoing, and social.
3. The yearner
Yerners sleep on a side with both arms stretched out in front of you as if reaching for something. They are generally open-minded, yet a little bit cynic and suspicious.
If you are used to lying on your back with both arms down by your side, you might be quiet and reserved.
If you sleep on your stomach with your arms up around your pillow, and your head turned to the side, you are probably sociable and brash.
