Changing your sleep routine might not be as easy as you might want it to be, but with these five tips, you are bound to improve your rest time and benefit from being fully energized.
1. Establish a routine
Try going to bed and waking up at the same time every day to help your circadian clock going.
2. Pay attention to what you drink
Don’t drink any caffeinated drink after lunch, instead go for hot lemon water or fruit juice.
3. Prepare your room
Light a scented candle, some incense or spray some lavender essence on your pillow. Grab a book and get in the mood!
4. Stay away from electronics
Choose a book instead, electronics can prevent you from sleeping. Leave your phone aside at least 40 minutes before going to bed.
5. Get some sunlight
Exposing yourself to sunlight –especially in the morning– will help your body set your internal clock.
