If you keep on forgetting to drink water, don’t be so hard on yourself. Most of us just don’t seem to remember to drink enough water throughout the day. So, what can you do about it?
The amount of water you should drink every day depends on several factors. The rule of thumb is to divide your weight in half and aim for that many ounces of water a day. Remember that if you do exercise you might need more than that. Here are 4 ways to drink more water!
1. Use a phone app
There are several apps that you can use to remind yourself to drink more, you could in fact, set reminders on your phone every 90 minutes.
2. Set your own goals
I try to drink my first 32-ounce water bottle by noon and finish another one before five.
3. Keep your water bottle next to you
Having your bottle of water next to your desk is paramount to be able to see it and remind yourself that you have to drink it.
4. Make sure you have water next to your bed as well
Every time you wake up you can have a zip of water and that will keep your body hydrated through the night.
