Make your own cream with vegan ingredients!
The main ingredient in these creams is butter, to make it vegan in this case you will use shea and cocoa butter, smooth!
The cocoa butter melts at body temperature and works to naturally soothe dry, sensitive skin while reducing and preventing the appearance of scars and unwanted marks.
Shea butter is known to be a “skin superfood” that nourishes skin to promote its clarity and addresses problems such as dryness, blemishes, dark spots, discoloration, stretch marks, and wrinkles without clogging pores. Aren’t they great? But still, they are underestimated by most people, well, no more!
Being vegan goes hand in hand with an eco-friendly way of thinking, that’s why before making this recipe make sure you can grab some glass containers, we don’t need more plastic on this earth.
Besides, oxygen molecules can slip through plastics, while glass is a perfect barrier to keep it out of your products. Here’s the recipe so you can make your own vegan cruelty-free hand cream.
50gr coconut oil
25 gr shea butter
25 gr cacao butter
1 tbsp vitamin E oil
3 drops orange essential oil
Melt the coconut oil, shea butter, and raw cacao butter together “au bain marie”
Remove the bowl from the heat and add in vitamin e oil and orange essential oil. Whisk until combined.
Place the bowl in the freezer for 20 to 30 minutes until it is half solidified.
Using a hand mixer beat the mixture on high for 1 to 2 minutes until a fluffy butter-like consistency is achieved.
Transfer the mixture into a glass container or jar.
And that’s it! You can now make your own hand cream that’s vegan and cruelty-free.
