Vegan salmon: 2 Ways of preparing the best salmon dupes!

If you are trying to cut down on your animal-based proteins, you are bound to like these two salmon dupes!

I’m honestly not very keen on fish, not only because I’m a vegetarian, but also because I don’t like the taste of it. But these two salmon dupes are one of my favorite recipes!

Raw vegan Salmon

Ingredients:

Method:

1. Soak almonds overnight and drain them.

2. Blend the almonds, carrots and onions in a food processor and continue until it becomes a grainy paste.

2. In a bowl, add the other ingredients and mix well, make a loaf and keep it in the fridge for at least 5 hours. Then serve!

This smoked vegan salmon is perfect for your morning avocado toast! It is super easy to prepare and it tastes great!

Method:

1. Cut the carrots with the flat blade spiralizer tool, don’t remove the skin, this will make it look more natural.

2. Toss all the seasonings into a pot (liquid smoke, salt, maple syrup) and bring it to a boil and let it cook for 10 minutes.

3. Cover with a lid and let it cool down.

4. Remove them, let them dry and add the vegetable oil (this will recreate the fat), salt, lemon juice.

Et voila! Your smoked vegan salmon!
