A supermodel, an entrepreneur, an outspoken feminist, a writer, and a mom-to-be. Emily Ratajkowski does it all, while looking absolutely breathtaking. Yet her routine is not as complex as one may expect.
After all, we are speaking about the woman who wore a Zara suit and did her own hair and makeup for her wedding. How can you not love her?
Emily's glow has a lot to do with her confidence, her personality, and her diet, but skincare is of help as well. The best news is that it's probably more minimal than you'd expect.
Her everyday go-to is a simple Kiehl's cleanser, especially if her skin is looking good and she doesn't want to saturate it with something heavy.
Moisturizer comes next.
A lot of moisturizers, they don't absorb into your skin quickly enough, but this one seeps in right away," says Emily referring to her favourite By Terry Hydra-Éclat Daily Care.
Also a minimalist with her makeup, you're unlikely to see Emily heavily made up, unless it's for a photoshoot.
She uses a little Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream mixed in with Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint and applies on sunscreen (a must for every human on this planet). Foundation is optional, although she might sometimes use just a little Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Foundation in 6 Medium. She may also use her concealer instead of foundation.
Blush and lipstick are next, with her fave being Nudestix. On most days, though Emily will just use her lipstick as blush.
"I use a lot of blush. Even when other makeup artists do my makeup, I'm always like, 'More blush, more blush!' And I might go a little bit on the nose, too, which is like a '90s trick to really make it look like you just got sun. That's where the sun hits. I also put my blush a little bit higher than most people because again, I think it makes it look a little bit more natural. So I almost bring it up to the under-eye."
Occasionally, she finishes her look with a bit of bronzer and highlighter.
Once a month, Emily goes to a Korean spa and treats herself to a facial, although she gets most of her facials at home by herself. She likes using face masks and exfoliators at night, combining them with different serums, depending on how her skin feels that day.
Her night routine is quite simple, cleanse (Dr. Loretta Gentle Hydrating Cleanser), hydrate (Barbara Sturm's Face Cream Rich), apply a serum (Joanna Vargas' Super Nova Serum is one of her faves) and a facial mist (Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist).
