Salma Hayek shares her wellness tips: from diet to how she stays in shape

Salma Hayek looks splendid every day! During several interviews, she has confessed that she tries to achieve a balance in her life. She likes to eat most of the meals, from drinking healthy juices to eating bugs! The talented artist is aware of her curves and has confessed that "I’m at the limit of chubbiness at all times, but I’m happy at all times". Undoubtedly this is not a minor fact. She accepted herself as it is and tries to take care of its appearance without becoming obsessive.

Salma starts her day with a hearty meal, consisting of fruits, vegetables, and a variety of berries. She is a fan of figs! For breakfast, she likes the combination of yogurt, celery, red pepper, cucumber, almonds, nuts, blueberries, mango, and papaya.  

The actress is such a fan of juices that she co-created a company called "Cooler Cleanse". She believes that replacing regular meals with fresh juice can be a healthy option to reach optimal nutrition. “After doing a juice cleanse, I’m motivated to eat healthier and not emotionally. Cleansing is like my meditation. It makes me stop, focus, and think about what I’m putting into my body. I’m committing to my health and hitting the reset button.”

The successful producer also said that she practices restorative yoga regularly. This discipline is ideal for healing the whole body and mind. "I work with a woman in London who taught me how to hold my body in a way where the muscles are activated all day long"

Another rule that she admitted following is embracing the good fats into the regular diet, "I make a bone broth, this one is extremely good for all your health and it's full of collagen, the right fats can keep you young for a long time."

As you can see, there are no magical formulas. Maybe balance is the key. Having yoga lessons combined with some sports, having a healthy diet, drinking healthy smoothies, and last but not least, eating buts! She explained that in Mexico is a very common habit " They have crickets, and then the ant’s eggs. They fry them. If you fry anything, it tastes good, but they are delicious. The bugs are incredible!".
