The supermodel and founder and CEO of Kora Organics, Miranda Kerr shares how it is a day in her life. Let’s see
Not only is Miranda a supermodel and entrepreneur but she is also a mother of 3 beautiful children. Although having a busy schedule between being a mother and her jobs, Miranda always finds time for herself. So here we share some details about her wellness routine.
How she wakes up
Miranda Kerr usually wakes up at 5.30 am so as to have some time for herself since her kids do not wake up until 6.30 or 7. Then she does a skincare routine and some minutes of meditation to start the day in the best way. “I do Transcendental Meditation, where I just say a mantra to myself,” she said in an interview with Vogue.
“I also do some yoga and stretching. I have been doing that since I was 18 and now I’m 37!” she added. She usually does a 20-minute meditation together with some stretching and then she jumps into a shower with a cold blast to get the circulation going.
Miranda’s Kerr morning skincare routine
Before taking a shower, first, she brushes her body with a dry body brush to help her body metabolize toxins more efficiently. While taking a shower, she uses Kora Organics Foaming Cleanser. After she cleanses and scrubs her body, she uses the Citrus Mist and then her Noni Bright Vitamin C, whit Kakadu plum, which is a natural source of vitamin C and it is good for pigmentation. Then Miranda uses a hydrating moisturizer on top and the Noni Glow Face Oil over that.
Moreover, she loves using two facial tools: The NuFACE and a gua sha to lift and take care of her face.
Miranda Kerr’s hair routine
Not only is she very conscious of the importance of taking care of her skin, but she also has a hair routine. She uses Rahua Shampoo, natural shampoo with palo santo. “In my nighttime routine, I light a candle and burn palo santo – it is like sage and it helps with clearing. Your hair can pick up energetic things so I thought it was genius that they made a palo santo shampoo,” she explained.
“If there is one thing people can do for their health, it is celery juice,” said the supermodel. She is a big fan of celery juice and has one every morning on an empty stomach. Also, her husband loves celery juice. “You just get yourself a juicer, a cold-pressed one. And then you rinse the stalks really well, put them in the juicer, and make sure you rinse the juicer straight away,” she explains.
Her workout routine
Nowadays there are many options of exercises online so she likes to mix things up and do a little of them all. “I love Melissa Wood Health, Megan Roup [The Sculpt Society] and Ballet Beautiful. She also practices Kundalini Yoga. “Kundalini yoga for me is something that works really well. I see a kundalini yoga instructor on the weekends with my husband – her name is Amy Shea.”
