Supermodels know better than anyone the importance of having a balanced diet. Recently, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley explained what her own meals consist of, what she’s avoiding and how she manages to maintain a healthy diet.
Those who follow the supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley on her social media might have noticed how stronger and energized she looks. While she’s always had a lean complexion, she’s admitted her new diet had a very positive impact on her body.
First of all, like every other diet, there are some restrictions. Alcohol and dairy, as well as sugar and gluten, aren’t allowed. This can seem like a lot at first sight, but the model explains how it doesn’t take long to get used to it: it’s only a matter of adapting your meals.
While it can be tough in the beginning, there are many substitutes for such ingredients. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley admitted there were some foods she missed, but she quickly added that these could easily be replaced with other healthier options that are just as tasty and fulfilling.
In this diet, certain foods are recommended above others: detoxifying vegetables and liver-friendly foods. The first ones include cauliflower, kale and broccoli; while onion, avocado and garlic fall in the second category. Some culinary herbs, like rosemary and oregano, are also good for your liver and are therefore included.
As additional advice, the supermodel encourages people to eat healthy most of the time, but allow themselves an enjoyable dessert once in a while. This is a way to maintain a good balance that combines moderation, conscious eating, and the occasional treat.
