The Oscar-winner, Jennifer Lawrence, shares her workout routine to be in shape for her movies

Jennifer is an anti-exercise person but she has admitted to dabbling in when a movie role requires it. "I hate saying, 'I like exercising'," Lawrence told Glamour in 2012." I want to punch people who say that in the face. But it's nice being in shape for a movie because they basically do it all for you,” she added. Some of her most important roles include the role of Katniss Everdeen in “The hunger games” and the role of Mystique in “X-men: First class. As a result, she had to follow a workout routine to stay in shape while filming those movies.

Her training plan depends on the roles she has coming up and her trainer, Dalton Wong, inspired her with different methods. Dalton wrote a book and there he explained some routines including Jennifer’s. Due to the fact that Jennifer usually spends many hours in movie sets with limited space to work out, Wong devised a plan that wouldn't require any fancy equipment. When she is filming a movie, she follows this routine:

  1. Variations of squats and lunges, 
  2. Leg lowering
  3. Weighted pushups 
  4. Curl and press
  5. Burpees
  6. High and low planks
