Gwyneth Paltrow isn't known for her simple (or pocket-friendly) approach to beauty and wellness. Imagine our surprise when we learned that she still resorts to some simple wellness routines, we can all follow. 

Gwyneth has recently revealed the surprisingly simple wellness trick that she’s relied on for decades.

‘I take a bath every single night—unless I’m somewhere where there is no bathtub. I started getting really into taking baths when I was probably 22 years old and did my first movie in London. It’s such a kind of damp cold there, a bath is the only thing that gets the cold out your bones. So, I started taking baths every night—and then I came home and I just never stopped.’

Paltrow enhances her bath experience with salts, essential oils, herbal teas, and after-bath lotions and potions.

‘Over the course of time, from going to various countries where they use different oils, salts, and other ingredients in baths, I got really interested in the therapeutic part of it,’ Gwyneth revealed.

Yet, you don't need to spend a fortune to get the benefits of a long hot bath. Epsom or magnesium salts are an amazing way to supercharge the bath, as is lighting a few scented candles. Add a good book and a herbal tea and you'll have a perfect night in.
