Gwyneth Paltrow's day on a plate: everything the queen of wellness eats

The Oscar-winning actress has not eaten red meat in 20 years. At that time she began a macrobiotic diet, which she has not yet abandoned.

She doesn't keep secrets, she prefers to share her diet to help many people eat better. Paltrow launched the book It's all good, in which she tries to help many women to have a healthy lifestyle with their way of living.

Experts call the Paltrow diet the "Elimination Diet". It basically consists of stopping the consumption of alcohol, sugar, and red meat.

To start the day, Paltrow begins the morning with oil pulling. She then drinks two large glasses of warm water to kickstart her digestion.

Then, she has a natural orange juice that provides her with Vitamin C. Other times she drinks a smoothie or cocoa shake with spinach, organic almond butter rich in fatty acids.

At lunchtime, she prefers to eat fresh salads with a source of protein, tacos with vegetables or fish.

And as a snack, she may have some nuts and green tea.

Finally, at dinner time, Gwyneth Paltrow usually prefers blue or white fish with a variety of colorful vegetables.

Overall, Gwyneth sticks to whole foods and home-cooked meals, which allow her to have full control of how the food has been prepared.
