Training fit for a superhero

What do Emily Blunt, Brie Larson, Emma Stone and Liam Hemsworth have in common? The answer is Jason Walsh.

Scrolling through Brie Larson’s Instagram account, you will see the video that exposed her tough training to become Captain Marvel. It shows the actress pushing a 5000-pound Jeep, with a full gas tank and someone in the pilot's seat.

Brie became a machine thanks to the demanding routine guided by Hollywood PT Jason Walsh. By the end of her program, she was able to do twenty weighted push-ups, 100kg in deadlifts and 180kg in hip thrusts.

Her main focus was strength training, which has been gaining popularity recently as the myth of women becoming bulky by lifting weights was finally put to rest.

Same principles were followed by Emily Blunt for her role in The Edge of Tomorrow. I bet you still remember the push-up. Emily trained for two and a half months working on mobility, endurance and flexibility as well as being able to move with a heavy suit on.
