Earlier this week, Apple unveiled Fitness+, a new approach to personalized fitness built for Apple Watch. Here you have everything you should know about it.
Apple Fitness+ is going to be launched later this year, but on Tuesday the brand unveiled what this is all about. Fitness+, specially built for Apple Watch, incorporates your metrics and allows you to see all the information in any of your Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV), providing a personalized training experience.
Whether you are a rookie or experienced athlete, Apple Fitness+ will allow you to access a wide variety of studio-style designed workouts that are delivered by world-class trainers.
“We’re so excited to energize our customers with new ways to get active and stay active with Apple Watch,” said Jay Blahnik, Apple’s senior director of fitness for Health Technologies. “With diverse studio workouts that are suitable for all ability levels, led by a phenomenal group of unique trainers, and an approachable program designed for beginners all the way through to the fitness enthusiast — as well as the flexibility to work out anywhere — there’s something for everyone. We know Fitness+ will take working out with Apple Watch to the next level with unparalleled engagement, convenience, and inspiration.”
How does it work?
Apple Fitness+ will provide users with personalized workouts in order to help them get (and stay) engaged. They come up with these personalized workout suggestions by considering previously completed workouts and uses all to suggest new programs, but surprisingly enough, Fitness+ will not only offer similar training programs like the ones the user has previously completed, but also some fresh options to balance their routines.
Users will be able to select their desired workout from any Apple device and the exact same will start on their Apple Watch. During the session, the metrics appear on the screen, providing extra inspiration and engagement.
Training is provided by inspirational trainers, making it even more attractive to users!
