How to do it
Place your hands and knees on a yoga mat, keep hands shoulder-width apart, and knees underneath your hips. Suck your lower abdomen, and engage your abs to lift your hips. Place your head in between your hands –your body should be in an upside-down V-shape.
The plank is one of the best exercises to strengthen your core and activate your arms, bum, back and legs. It is great to build stability, prevent injuries and improve your posture.
How to do it
Extend your hands under your shoulders as if you were going to do a push-up, ground your toes into the floor and squeeze your glutes as you lift into a straight line. Make sure your core is engaged and don’t let your hips fall.
