If you want to try imitating her glamorous look, here are some tips to follow and you only need a few minutes to put the look together!
Prep your skin
Before applying any makeup, make sure you cleanse your skin with some micellar water, rinse it with water and apply some toner:
I’m a big fan of toner"
Says the actress of the Netflix smash hit show "The Queen's Gambit."
Then apply your favorite moisturizer and if you want some extra smoothness you can also apply some bb cream.
The Perfect Winged Eyeliner
Cat-eye makeup is a classic eye look that can be hard to get right and this is exactly why winged eyeliner stencils exist. But don't worry, here are some tips to get it right. Tip: have some q-tips at hand so you can correct any imperfection and with your favorite liquid, gel or pencil eyeliner you'll get it!
Draw a thin line from the outer corner of the eye up towards the end of your eyebrow at a 45-degree angle. If you’re experiencing some difficulties, try drawing small dots and then connecting them –I sometimes use a piece of paper if I can't get a smooth line freehand.
Now, using your liquid eyeliner of choice, draw a thin line across the upper eyelid, following the natural curve of your upper lash line. Start from the inner corner working your way towards the outer corner. If you are feeling like you can add more drama to your look, you can do the same on your lower lash.
Go over the line again filling in any gaps with more eyeliner and that's it!
Mascara makes your eyes look bigger and brighter, even if you are not applying any makeup at all, wearing a bit of mascara will frame your eyes and make you look full of life. You can start by curling your lashes with a lash curler (if you don't have one, here is another way to get the same results). Take your mascara wand and start at the roots, apply the mascara with a wriggling motion to make sure that there is more volume at the roots, and your lashes don’t feel weighed down and do the same in your lower lashes.
Youthful pink blush
Applying some pink blush will make you look younger and healthier. Start applying the blush with a brush from your temples and move down to the hollows of your cheekbones –where the indentation forms– then move the brush from the sides of your face toward the center of your cheeks for a more defined look.
Dark plump lips
Choose a dark tone to highlight your lips and start your application at the center of the upper lip and move outward toward one corner. Bring the lipstick back to the center and run it outward toward the other corner, then repeat the process in your lower lip. Make sure not to leave any gaps and if you have, fill them in.
