The singer posted a photo of herself wearing a lavender bikini that she designed herself and showed us that you can look amazing no matter what your age is.
On Monday, Shakira (43) posted a photo on her Instagram feed showing off a bathing suit and wrote “This is a new bathing suit I designed and my friend Bego made for me. I always need to create my own for the summer”. The swimsuit is a two-piece lavender fringed bikini that suits her perfectly. Last year, she also designed a bathing suit, which was a neon-pink bikini.
The singer is 43 and better and has an impressive figure. According to her trainer, Anna Kaiser, Shakira works out five days a week, but two out of five days, she works out twice.
Kaiser revealed that she never works out consistently, because she doesn’t want her muscles to get too comfortable, so she alternates between strength and cardio or a mix of both. The pair have been working out on the singer´s endurance so she can keep a high level of energy throughout her shows.
For the SuperBowl 2020, Shakira not only worked hard on shaping and toning her muscles, but she also kept a lean diet.
And by lean we mean healthy proteins and a ton of veggies. As a matter of fact, Shakira alternates between 60% veggies and 40% proteins and 80% veggies and 20% protein.
Anna Kaiser shared that a regular day for Shakira is “a salad and fish for lunch, soup for a snack, skirt steak with grilled tomatoes and spinach for dinner, and dark chocolate for dessert."
In a more intimate note, Kaiser shared that Shakira’s routine is not that different from the one any other busy woman might have:
“For any busy woman, transitions in your day are really important. It’s really hard to change your energy and get yourself into the headspace of working out. One of the most challenging things for her is to come into a room and let everything else go. To let the 15 other things I’m thinking about disappear for the next 75 minutes.”
