There’s no need for investing a fortune on shampoos and creams to fight dandruff. You just have to make the right choice.
Many people have dandruff. But that’s no excuse to live with it. You can choose products in the markets specially design for this problem, or you can first try to remove it at home. Discovering which is the cause of it, will help a lot too. Some of them can be oily skin, Malassezia (a species of yeast-like fungus), or dry skin.
Tea tree oil
It has antifungal properties, so it would be excellent for facing dandruff when caused by fungi. You just need 3 drops of tea tree oil and 3 drops of sweet almond or jojoba oil. Method:
- Mix the oils
- Apply the mix on a cotton pad and spread it over your scalp.
- Leave it on for 10 minutes and rinse.
This ingredient is such an ally when treating the skin. It has antifungal and antimicrobial properties. So, you can get the gel of an aloe vera leaf, apply it on your scalp, and massage in circular motions. Rinse after an hour.
