The truth is that you can apply concealer in a hundred different ways depending on what you are trying to fix. The most popular being drawing an inverted triangle under your eye to brighten your face. But this might not be the solution to conceal under-eye bags.
How to conceal under-eye bags
- You have to contour them –create shadows and highlight to build the perfect look! Here is how we do it.
- Choose a darker shade to add some depth to the eye bag and apply the shade directly on the bag.
- Use a lighter color to conceal the line underneath the eye bag. Of course, it looks quite simple but it takes some practice to make it right –think about it as if you were contouring your cheekbones.
- Use the lighter tone to Highlight the top of your cheekbones to make your eye bag recede.
You can try this technique to contour any feature that you want to. If you want your crease to look deeper, you can apply a darker tone to the area to open up hooded eyes or darken the inner corner of your eyes to bring your eyes together and make the bridge of your nose look thinner. Just be creative and take some time to enjoy makeup!
