Kefir can be used in multiple skin or hair care treatments. But if there's one thing it's especially good for, it's wrinkles. Our skin can present very notorious signs of being mistreated by the elements, signs of age and expression lines. Using a kefir mask, you may notice the change in a couple of weeks.
One of the properties that kefir has, is its high content of antioxidants that help fight free radicals and inflammation.
In addition, Kefir has great antiseptic properties, so it is very beneficial for prevention of bacteria on skin.
Make sure you patch test before applying any mask on your skin and avoid if you are allergic to any in the ingredients.
Kefir face mask
2 tablespoons of Kefir
1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Once we have our kefir yogurt or water kefir, put two spoonfuls of this product in a container, if we want it to be even more nutritious, we can add a spoonful of olive oil.
- Mix it well with a spoon to achieve a uniform and thick cream.
- Apply the kefir mask on clean skin with the help of a cotton ball or with your hands.
- Leave the mask on for half an hour until it is completely dry.
- Remove with abundant warm water and with the help a muslin cloth or a warm facial towel.
- Pat dry and moisturise
