We've been looking down on canned food for no reason,  it can be as tasty and it is surely a time savior. It lasts for years in your pantry and it is ready to eat. Here's our top 5:

1. Canned tomatoes

Canned tomatoes are an absolute must. You can prepare anything from curries to stews or any sauce. 

2. Beans

A kidney bean salad or chili is the perfect comfort food and it can be done only by opening a can. It's vegan, packed with proteins, and super tasty.

This is my favorite, you can prepare a pumpkin pie, a soup, add it to your favorite risotto, or stew to thicken it. 

4. Corn

Toss it in a salad, use it with some cream cheese and eggs for a quiche filling, or just add it to your favorite soup!

This is my absolute favorite, strain a can of chickpeas for some hummus and aquafaba mayo. Toss some in a baking sheet and you'll have some crispy snacks, add some to your favorite salad or prepare some falafel. The choices are endless!
