How to:

For the crust:

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients - whole wheat flour, flour, and salt.
  2. Add the olive oil and with your fingers mix the oil into the flour evenly to obtain a consistency of bread crumbs.
  3. Add water to the whole mixture. Collect everything and form a dough.

 
For the filling:

  1. Cut the apples.
  2. Mix the cinnamon powder, ground nutmeg, sugar, and whole wheat flour with the apples.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  4. Grease the tart tin with olive oil.
  5. Divide the dough into two equal parts.
  6. Place the dough on a dusted work surface.
  7. Divide the dough into two parts and place one of them gently in the greased baking dish and press it towards the bottom and the edges.
  8. Arrange the apple slices with the filling evenly on the bottom cake batter. Put a few drops of olive oil on the filling.
  9. Cover with the other sheet and fold the edges of the upper crust over and under the lower edges. You can also cut strips from the dough and create a lattice pie crust.
  10. Brush with soy milk and sprinkle a little sugar and cinnamon powder on top.
