JLo admitted she was addicted to sugar: how and why she quit

Jennifer Lopez realized she had an addiction to sugar after starting the challenge of changing some eating habits for 10 days.

The renowned singer and actress took on a 10-day sugar- and carbohydrate-free challenge with her partner, Alex Rodriguez. The couple shared every step of the challenge on Instagram and many people began to change their eating habits from there.

Most of Lopez's diet is made up of sugar and carbohydrates. So the challenge for her was to completely give up sugar and see if she was able to meet the challenge.

However, the most unexpected thing for J.Lo was that to stop consuming so much sugar impacted her physically and mentally.

"Not only does your head hurt, but you feel like you are in an alternate reality or universe. You realize that you are addicted to sugar. And I think about it all the time. I'm like, 'When can I have sugar again?

Fortunately, her body learned to adapt towards the end of the challenge and she managed to meet her challenge and she said that giving up sugar was the best decision she ever made.

"It was very difficult at first, and it was the discipline. I was like, it's only 10 days, come on, you can do this. And then suddenly you start feeling less swollen, and you feel good.

After returning to his regular diet, J.Lo found that his approach and mentality towards sugar had changed. She said she now realized that she doesn't want any more sugar in her life. This shows that bad habits can be changed if you really want to.
