Despite all the amaxing health benefits that cauliflower has, many people are scared by its aroma or are unsure of how to best prepare it. We give you some tips on how to best cook this nutritious veg.
- The best way to cook cauliflower to presere it benefits is to roast or sauté it. Avoid overcooking and boiling!
- To avoid the appearance of the characteristic smell that cauliflower gives off during cooking, you can add some pieces of bread or potato to the water. Don't cover the pot as the smell with affect the flavour as well.
- You can also mask the smell by adding a bay leaf, a couple of spoons of vinegar.
- Cauliflower can be eaten raw, dipped in hummus or any sauce of choice. But this may not agree with everyone.
