How to properly cook cauliflower
- The best way to cook cauliflower to preserve its benefits is to roast or sauté it. Avoid overcooking and boiling!
- To avoid the appearance of the characteristic smell that cauliflower gives off during cooking, you can add some pieces of bread or potato to the water. Don't cover the pot as the smell affects the flavour as well.
- You can also mask the smell by adding a bay leaf, a couple of spoons of vinegar.
