Coffee: Can drinking a cup of strong coffee before working out help burn fat?
Fat burners are probably not new for you. But what if you could use coffee to burn more fat without taking any supplement? Research from the University of Granada has found that drinking 3mg for every 1kg of your body weight, which is equivalent to a cup of strong coffee, half an hour before your cardio routine can improve the rate of fat-burning.
They tested 15 men of approximately the same age and made them exercise after taking 3mg per kg of caffeine or a placebo before each session. Eventually, those who had taken caffeine had increased maximum fat oxidation regardless of the time of the day.
Another good reason for you to brew up a cup of coffee before doing exercise is that it can help ward off heart disease and allow your cells to be more sensitive to adrenaline.
