There are several studies that show that eating breakfast may help you lose weight, however, it depends on the type of food you consume for breakfast. If your day starts with waffles or doughnuts or packaged cereals, chances are that you will feel hungry within a short period. So it is important to follow a healthy and well-balanced breakfast so you may feel full and eat less during the day. But, more studies should be done to reveal more about this statement.
Myth 4: Skipping breakfast in intermittent fasting has health benefits
Intermittent fasting has become a very popular lifestyle that means skipping breakfast in order to complete certain hours of fasting. It is claimed that intermittent fasting can help with weight loss and it also increases metabolism. However, this type of diet is not for everybody. Like many other diets, it can work for some people and not for others. For example, it is a fact that many people that have tried this diet have experienced a fall in sugar levels, rise in acidity, headache, etc. So before deciding to follow a diet, speak with a dietitian.
Myth 5: Nutritious Breakfast means having time to make it
That is totally false. To get the benefits of breakfast it is important to be healthy and nutritious and processed and packaged food contains lots of preservatives that are not good for your body. Prepare the breakfast in advance: fry an egg, cut some fruits, and grab some nuts. How much time does it take you to do that? Some minutes.
