Bathing is one of my favorite self care practices, I know, however, that I have to be responsible with the use of water, so I don't do it often and I reuse the water -not doing it so often makes bathing even more special for me. 

The kitchen staple you should be using in your bath is none other than mustard powder. This practice dates back to ancient Romans who used to claim that the seed alleviates stress, insomnia, stored muscles, and sinus pressure.

Ingredients:

(this will last you for 4 baths)

Method:

  1. Use a storage jar and toss all the ingredients in, shake it or whisk it until you've mixed them all. 
  2. Prepare a hot bathtub and use 4 tablespoons of the mixture each time. 
  3. Stay for as long as you need to. 

The results

It is better to take the bath before going to bed, and follow it with a cold shower and scrub to rest and restore your energy.
