Creating your own beauty products is an act of self-love and an act of love for the environment. If you still haven't started creating your own products, this DIY face wash is a good place to start.
I've been creating my own skincare, body care and hair care products for a while now. I've been slowly replacing products from my beauty routine and my goal is to DIY all of it someday.
This DIY face wash is inexpensive, effective, and super gentle for your skin.
DIY face wash
This recipe is way cheaper than buying one at the store, it takes only a few minutes to make your own batch and you can customize it!
- Castile soap (to remove dirt, makeup leftovers and sebum without stripping your skin)
- Almond oil (packed with antioxidants and a great moisturizer)
- Essential oil of choice, I love lavender oil
Use the liquid castile soap, the carrier oil (añmond oil) and your essential oil and pour it in a glass container, shake it until it's well combined, and voilá!
To use it, wash your face with warm water, add 3 pumps of your face wash and massage into your skin for a minute, rinse and continue with your routine.
