How to reset your skin after Halloween makeup

Halloween is around the corner and it would be a good idea to have it all planned before the 31st. If you are planning on wearing heavy makeup, this is your complete guide to reset your skin.

How to reset your skin after Halloween makeup

Failing to take care of your skin after wearing heavy makeup can hinder your skin. We've already discussed the importance of cleansing your skin, especially before going to bed -on a regular basis. So if you are planning to celebrate all week long, make sure to follow these steps to reset your skin and make it look as glowy as ever

1. Be careful when removing your eyelashes

Make sure to remove your eyelashes without damaging your lashes. Try dabbing a reusable pad with some olive oil or coconut oil on the lash line to soften the glue and make the process easier. It will hydrate your eyelids and provide nutrients that will promote lash growth.

2. When using glitter... be smart

Failing to take care of your skin after wearing heavy makeup can hinder your skin.

Removing glitter feels like going to hell and back. To remove it completely you can use tape -repeat it as many times as possible. The rest will be removed when you cleanse your makeup. I do not, however, recommend using glitter -glitter cannot be recycled and it can damage your skin.

3. Cleanse

Make sure you remove all your makeup, glitter and dirt from your skin before going to bed. To do so, I recommend double cleansing, first with an oil-based cleanser and then with a water-based cleanser such as a gel. Wipe away any residue with a toner this will soothe your skin and remove any leftover debris.

4. Purify with a clay mask

Use a clay mask to draw all the oil from your pores and avoid clogging them.

5. Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize

Use your favorite serum, moisturizer and face oil to lock all the good in your skin.
