When it comes to hair removal methods, there are tons, but some areas are more sensitive than others. Facial hair removal poses some difficulties as the skin on our faces is more delicate and you might experience some sensitivity and redness, This is how to remove facial hair safely.
Facial hair is a thing, and while some people decide not to get rid of it, some others are bothered by it. As you might not, the skin on your face is way more delicate than the skin on your legs, and you should be careful as to what method you choose.
How to remove facial hair safely
Shaving is easy, fast, and painless. You can use a disposable shaver or an electric one, but mind you, the results are not long-lasting, and you might experience some ingrown hairs as a side effect. I don't usually recommend this method, but it is totally up to you.
Tweezing is effective, and it allows you to target those hairs that you find more noticeable. However, it could be time-consuming, but it is relatively painless.
Waxing is quick and effective. You can use wax strips or regular wax that you melt. I find waxing too harsh for sensitive skin and I believe it pulls your skin too much, so I prefer tweezing over waxing.
4. Depilatory creams
Depilatory creams last longer than shaving and they are specifically designed to work on facial hair, which makes it a painless, effective method – always remember to patch test it.
5. Laser hair removal
I wouldn't recommend doing it at home, as it is important to protect your skin from burning and causing any hyperpigmentation. But I have done it as an in-office treatment, and it is one of the best beauty decisions I have made. It doesn't hurt that much, it is quick, the results are long-lasting and my skin looks brighter and smoother.
