Rosehip oil could be the holy grail of skincare -and even hair care! But how do I include it in my skincare routine?
Rosehip oil has been a favorite for me for a long time now. if this is the rest time you hear about it, you can check our beginner's guide here.
Now that you know what it is, let's see how to include it in your skincare routine.
1. Use it as a moisturizer
Rosehip is packed with fatty acids that will help form a water-resistant barrier because rosehip oil actually penetrates the skin. Just apply a few drops onto your complexion -rosehip oil is a dry oil, so it won't leave an oily layer sitting on your skin.
2. To fade scars
The fatty acids present in rosehip oil can help minimize the appearance of hyperpigmentation from acne, chickenpox, or others.
3. As an anti-aging oil
Antioxidants present in rosehip oil can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
4. As a scalp moisturizer
If your scalp tends to be dry or itchy, massage a little rosehip oil into your scalp as you would any other oil treatment.
5. As a lip gloss
It will give you hydration, a dewy, glowy look without the gooey feeling. Just dab a couple of drops onto your lips.
