It seems that the days of powdered complexion and matte finish are gone, now all we want is a dewy, glowy look. But there is one thing I've noticed, it doesn't seem to last all day. This is what you have to do to fix it.
I love makeup, but since 2020 I've embraced a more natural look. I try keeping it simple, a no-makeup makeup style is what I usually go for, and if I feel like spicing it up a bit, I just apply a bold eyeliner or eyeshadow and keep the foundation light. Another thing that is super trendy, and that I tend to go for is a glowy look, but I have noticed that it tends to wear off quite easily, this is how to make the glow lasts all day!
How to create a glow that will last all day with makeup
Don't skip skincare
Having a smooth canvas is paramount for makeup to melt into your skin. Exfoliating regularly is a must, and making sure your skin is clean, toned, and moisturized will make it easier for the makeup to last longer.
Cream over powder
Liquid foundations, highlighters, and cream blush and concealer will adapt to your body temperature and will be easier to blend. I usually do without foundation and apply just a bit of concealer with my fingers, a bit of blush, and on top of my cheeks some liquid highlighter.
Oils and vaseline could be your new allies
You can top your makeup with a bit of face gloss, vaseline, or even coconut oil. It gives you a glossy finish without overdoing it.
To finish the look, use some lip gloss and a bit of mascara and use a light setting spray. I promise it will last all day!
