DIY overnight antiaging face mask (only 3 ingredients needed!)

Face masks are the perfect way to pamper your skin and it is one of my favorite self care practices. There is nothing like a rejuvenated complexion for a treat! 

Who says you can only pamper yourself during the weekend? A Monday night is perfect to give yourself a treat and start the week with renewed energy! This recipe features antiaging ingredients that can depuff your skin, reduce redness and inflammation, give you a collagen boost and hydrate your complexion, nothing bad for a Monday night, right?

Ingredients:

Scoop out the gel of one aloe vera leaf, if you prefer a store-bought formula, use one teaspoon, it will work just as well. 
  1. Remove the skin of the cucumber and process or great it.
  2. Press the cucumber to extract its juice, and take the juice to the freezer. Let it cool down for 5 minutes. 
  3. Scoop out the gel of one aloe vera leaf, if you prefer a store-bought formula, use one teaspoon, it will work just as well.
  4. Now combine the cucumber water and the aloe vera gel and stir in the contents of a vitamin E capsule. 
  5. At this point, you can add your essential oil of choice depending on your skin concerns – tea tree oil for acne-prone skin, rosehip essential oil for extra antiaging properties, or lavender oil to soothe redness.
  6. Apply the mixture onto your face after you've cleansed it, and you can go to sleep.
  7. Leave it overnight and rinse with lukewarm water in the morning. 
  8. Tone, moisturize and apply SPF as usual!

You can repeat the process up to 2 times a week depending on your tolerance to the ingredients.
