Makeup is all about having fun and you can actually experiment with whatever color you prefer, but you can find the right shade of blush to warm up your complexion or create the illusion of marked cheekbones!
What I love most about makeup is that it gives you the chance to experiment and be a different person every day and wipe it off whenever you want. You can not only play with colors and textures, but you can actually shape your face the way you want to. Here is how to choose your blush according to your skin type!
The idea is to find a color that would match the color you naturally blush. For fair skin, that would be baby pink –similar to the color of the inside of your lip. This is if you want a subtle look, you can always choose a bolder tone of pink or even peach. Actually, anybody can put on peach blush. It is especially flattering if you have yellow undertones, as you would flush in orange color.
The good news is that most shades fit you like a glove, although apricot or a darker shade of peach is a good choice to sculpt the face and apply on the cheeks for a subtle blush.
Orange and peaches are great to give a healthy shade to olive skin types –because of both yellow and green undertones. A rich bronze will also add a natural blush effect to olive skin tones.
Deep terra-cotta is great for dark skin, it is not only great to add a natural flush but also to contour your face, place some below cheekbones and blend carefully!
