Lavender and plantain medicinal balm
Using this natural lavender and plantain balm is relaxing and healing, and it’s recommended to apply it to the skin for muscle aches or headaches, insect bites, burns, insomnia, ulcers, cuts or rashes.
What do you need?
- 2 cups of sunflower or almond oil
- 1/2 cup of lavender flowers
- 1/2 cups of plantain leaves
- 3 tablespoons of virgin bee honey
- 1 wooden spoon
- 1 small pot
- 1 knife
- 1 airtight glass jar
Recipe: Place the oil and herbs in a pot and heat them in a Bain Marie for 1 hour. You can also marinate the mixture in the dark for 28 days. Filter the preparation but let the oil continue to heat. Grate the wax and add it to the oil. With a knife, check the density of the balm. Store in clean, airtight glass jars.
