According to a study published by the American Psychological Association in the journal Psychology and Aging feeling, younger contributes to warding off the damaging effects of stress and as a consequence, extend your lifespan.
The participants who reported more stress had a steeper decline in their hair over the 3 years that the study lasted, those who felt younger than their actual age seemed to buffer the effects of stress.

Feeling younger involves being emotionally flexible, being creative and embrace an attitude of playfulness.
Make an effort to include games, sports or social interactions into your weekly routine.

Keep stress at bay: try doing any activity to ward off stress, meditate, increase your physical activity, do therapy when necessary.
