Vegan desserts: 5 recipes your friends will love

Creating wonderful and fun creations without the need for a griddle or oven can be very simple. Most of the ingredients in these recipes are very nutritious and healthy. They will provide you with minerals and vitamins. Check it out.

1. Raw chia seeds pudding

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup of chia seeds
  • 2 cups of raw coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup of raw cacao powder
  • 3 Tbsp of raw date paste or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp of pure vanilla extract
  • Red fruits and blueberries for topping

Toppings:

Raw walnuts, large flake coconut, and raw cacao nibs

How to:

  • Whisk together the chia seeds, coconut milk, cacao powder, maple syrup, and vanilla in a bowl until well combined.
  • Let sit at least 30 minutes or cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • When ready to serve, top with red fruits, coconut, or chia seeds!

2. Raw chocolate brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of dates
  • 1 cup of pecans or walnuts
  • 1/3 cup of cacao or cocoa
  • 1 tbsp of vanilla
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Stevia to taste

How to:

  • In a food processor, pulse until very smooth, scraping down sides and allowing the food processor to cool as needed.
  • Press into a pan lined with parchment paper or wax paper, allowing the sides to come up high making it easy to remove.
  • Place in the freezer.

3. Raw Creamy Chocolate pudding

Ingredients:

  • 1 avocado
  • 1/4 cup of raw agave
  • 2 tbsp of cacao or cocoa
  • 1/2 tbsp of vanilla
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Dash of cinnamon

How to:

  • In a food processor, process until creamy and smooth.
  • Use a spatula and spread on top of the raw brownie base.
  • Freeze for one hour, and serve. Store in the freezer. 

4. Spiced Pear Crisp

Spiced Pear Crisp.

Ingredients:

  • 4-6 pears, sliced or cut into chunks
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2-3 tbsp of agave nectar
  • 2/3 cups of raw walnuts
  • 2/3 cup of raw pecans
  • 1/4 cup of hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
  •  1/2 tsp of nutmeg
  •  1/2 tsp of ginger
  •  A pinch of Himalayan sea salt

How to:

  • In a shallow baking dish, put the pears, the lemon juice, and the agave nectar.
  • Throw the rest of the ingredients into a processor or blender and pulse coarsely.
  • Pour the mixture over the sliced pears so that it is evenly spread out.

5. Raw Cashew Whip

Raw Cashew Whip

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of raw cashews
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tbsp of sweetener (agave, brown rice syrup, etc.)
  •  4 ice cubes (only use if you want to eat it right away)
  • Start with 1/4 cup water (you might need more to reach the desired consistency).

How to:

  • Throw all ingredients in a high powered blender and start blending. You will need to add more water until getting the desired consistency. It’s not as fluffy as whipped cream, but it’s so much tastier and healthier! 
  • Cut up some fruit in a bowl and pour over the top. Add some cereal or nuts or hemp if you like!
