1. Chamomile tea

Chamomile is a remedy used for many ailments. It was consumed more than 3000 years ago in Ancient Egypt. It was also used as a medicinal remedy.

These are its main properties. 

  • Relaxing

 By increasing the levels of serotonin and melatonin, it helps reduce anxiety and stress. However, it is contraindicated during pregnancy.   

  • Anti-inflammatory

It has anti-inflammatory properties. That is why its use is recommended if you suffer from a heavy stomach, or if you have eaten a lot. It helps reduce gas, menstruation pain, and it is also used if you have irritated eyes or suffer from eczema.

Chamomile tea with orange leaves


  • 3 orange leaves
  • 2 cups of water
  • ½ cup of chamomile

How to:

  • Boil the leaves in the water for 5 minutes. Add the chamomile and allow it to boil for 2 more minutes.
  • Turn off the heat and allow it to sit for 5 minutes.
  • Serve hot.

2. Lavender tea

Lavender is a plant that has long been used for curing nervous disorders. It is incorporated in essences and perfumes as a soothing element.

  • Lavender tea is used as a natural sedative for those who cannot sleep. Drink a cup of this tea before going to bed, and you will sleep like never before.

Digestive system

If you want to eliminate flatulence, intestinal infections, and stomach problems in general, lavender tea has come to your life to stay!

Lavender peach iced tea


  • 1 liter of water
  • 3 cups of lavender tea and a large tablespoon of dried lavender buds
  • 5 white peaches
  • 50g of sugar
  • 70 g of sugar syrup

How to:

  • Pour the lavender tea into a pitcher. Add the lavender buds.
  • Put the tea in the refrigerator to chill. Leave it there for 30 to 40 minutes.
  • Remove the cocoons.
  •  Place the sugar and sugar syrup in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Bring to a boil while stirring.
  • Remove from heat. Let it cool.
  •  Pour into the pitcher where the cold lavender tea is.
  •  Cut the peaches into slices. Add the slices to the jar.

 Return the pitcher to the refrigerator. Cover it and let it cool for a minimum of 3 hours.

Serve cold. Add ice cubes if the weather is hot.

3. Jasmine tea

Jasmine tea.

Jasmine tea is a variety of tea that has been consumed for generations in Southeast Asia. Jasmine tea is produced by fusing green tea with the fragrance of jasmine flowers.

  • It reduces the chances of suffering from colds and flu.

Drinking jasmine tea offers antiviral and antibacterial properties that help in the prevention of respiratory diseases.

  • It helps to lose weight.

Some studies have confirmed a relationship between the consumption of this drink and the reduction of fat cells in the body, which contributes to weight loss.

Green tea with jasmine


  • 6 tablespoons of green tea or 6 sachets
  • 1 liter of water
  • 6 tablespoons of sugar
  • 20 jasmine flowers
  • ice

How to:

  • Heat the water until it boils. Remove it from the heat, add the green tea, and infuse it for about 3 minutes. Strain it or remove the tea bags.
  • Add the sugar and cool it. When it is slightly cool, add the flowers.
  • Serve with plenty of ice.
