Plant-based and gluten-free beet leaves burgers

Beet leaves, chia seeds, and lentils are among some of the healthiest foods in the world. Put them together and you've got yourself a...burger? That's right! Try these plant-based burgers, great for your tastebuds AND your health. Who said burgers can't be healthy? 

Ingredients

Method

  1. Drain the beet greens and place them in a food processor with the lentils, the onion, and process. 
  2. Place the mixture into a bowl, incorporate the chia seeds, salt, and pepper to taste. Then knead a little bit and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  3. Form the patties and place them in a baking dish with a little oil.
  4. Cook for 20 to 30 minutes.
