1. Make fig jam in 3 easy steps
Wash the figs and cut into quarters.
Place in a saucepan and add the water. Bring to medium heat for 15 minutes and then add the sugar.
Cook for 15 more minutes, stirring occasionally so that the figs do not stick to the base. Then dd the lemon and let it reduce.
