Avocado is a versatile fruit, and it is definitely one of the most exquisite. If it were me, I would use it in all my meals. It can be eaten as a snack, breakfast, lunch or dinner. In this article we will give you some tips on how to make a great avocado on toast. Top it with a salad and you have a nutritious and delicious meal. 

Avocado is technically a fruit originating from Mexico. It has more potassium than banana, is high in  fiber,  healthy fats and protein. Incorporating avocado into our diet can lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Avocados also contain 26% of the daily value of Vitamin K.

There are studies that reveal that those people who consume more avocado have smaller waists and a lower body mass index. Like we needed an excuse to add it to our meals!

The now classic avocado on toast take  onyl a few minutes to make. To make it healthier, go for rye, spelt or wholemeal bread and toast it . A study published in European Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that toasted bread has a lower glycemic index.
