The Hollywood actor managed to lose 60 pounds (27kg) in 6 months in order to get the leading role in Guardians of the Galaxy. Pratt decided to start a training plan and a strict diet.  He followed a low-carb diet and drank a lot of water daily. the actor also worked out 5 times a week for 90 minutes each time and took 2 non-negotiable rest days. 

2. Christina Aguilera

Christina Aguilera underwent an extreme diet that helped her shed 50 pounds (23 kg). Christina stuck to a super healthy diet and reportedly consumed 1600 calories per day. She had three meals and one snack a day and avoided dairy.

3. Mariah Carey

At 50 years old, the singer looks better than ever. Mariah lost 30 pounds (13 kg) by focusing on whole foods, vegetables, and fruit. While she works out regularly, Mariah said that 90% of her weight loss is due to her healthy diet.

The actor managed to lose 30 pounds (13 kg)  to get a leading role in The Green Hornet. He worked out 5 days a week and stuck to 5-Factor Diet. His exercise routine consisted of HIIT workouts and strength training.

5. Jessica Simpson

The singer and designer lost an unbelievable 100 pounds (45 kg) after giving birth to her third child. She did so by walking at least 14000 steps every day, eating 5 meals a day (3 mains and 2 snacks), and working out 3 times a week for 45 minutes. Jessica also credits her stress management techniques for aiding her journey. She spent at least 1 hour a day disconnected from technology and focused on clocking in at least 7 hours of sleep per night.
