3 Very good reasons to Wear Sunscreen Every Day

If you are worried about wrinkles, skin problems and even other more serious conditions, UV protection is paramount. In fact, when it comes to your skincare, don't just think summer or winter, think sunlight.

Whatever time of year, fortunately, the sun is always there -even if it's cold or if it's cloudy. You may put away the bikinis and beach towels once the temperature drops, but there is one "summer" item you should really use all year round: And that is your sunscreen.

1. 1. The sun doesn't go away with the summer

We are always exposed to its UV and UVA rays

Although of course, we feel it more in the summer months, the sun IS THE SUN and it will be with you all seasons, every season, with rain, with cloudy skies or with 10 degrees below zero. Which means that you are always exposed to its UV and UVA rays. These can damage your skin, causing spots and making it look dry and battered, leading to photodamage.

So always, always, always put on some sunscreen before you step out.

2. 2. Pollution also damages your skin

Pollution damages your skin

We are used to using sunscreen with the idea of protecting our skin from the harmful effects of the sun, but what you may not know is that it also serves to counteract the damage caused by pollution.

So if you want your skin to always look radiant, soft, smooth and healthy, help it with a layer of anti-pollution sunscreen.

3. 3. Nourishes, moisturizes and softens

Some sunscreens have vitamins and natural extracts

Most sunscreens have vitamins and natural extracts that not only protect your skin, but also keep it nourished, hydrated and feeling fresh and relaxed all day long. There are plenty sunscreens which serve cosmetic purposes: like tinted, vitamin infused and shimmery sun reams.  So tinted sunscreen can also double up as a light foundation. Perfection.
